The very first event of the Quebec Health Accelerator and Incubator Consortium
Last Tuesday, October 4th, the first event of the Quebec Health Accelerator and Incubator Consortium took place at the Centre de Recherche Informatique de Montréal (CRIM). The event held a day of workshops and conferences surrounding the theme "Accelerating technological validation with clinical data". An initiative of our digital health coworking space MedXLab, this event brought together startups, incubators and innovation experts from Quebec's healthcare sector to present the challenges faced by each of them and to discuss the clinical validation of technologies.
This event also marked the launch of the ADOPT program, a program to accelerate the commercialization of technological solutions for Quebec life sciences startups, supported by the Quebec Biotechnology Innovation Centre (QBIC) and Quebec Health Accelerator and Incubator Consortium.
To complete the day, a technology pitch competition was held with a jury composed of representatives from the healthcare sector, allowing startups to present their technology project that meets the needs of healthcare environments.
